Freddy Contreras
ESD 1 Board President
Term: 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2025
A Pecos native, Freddy Contreras is the longest running member of the Pecos Volunteer Fire Department with almost three decades of volunteer service to the citizens of Reeves County. Freddy joined the VFD in 1993, the same year he graduated from police academy. He spent the last 16 years of his career serving the 143rd District Attorney’s office as a criminal investigator and retired in 2014, however, he continues to volunteer his services to the PVFD as Second Assistant Chief. Freddy has been a part of many transitions throughout his 30 years in the fire department, but no other has brought greater change than the adoption of Reeves County Emergency Service Districts Nos. 1 and 2. Freddy hopes to see the citizens involved in RCESD’s growth and success.
