Dr. Yvette Riker

Dr. Yvette Riker lived half of her life in San Diego, California and Gainesville, Florida before moving to Nashville, Tennessee in 1999, and became an official Pecos resident in March 2018. When she is not executing her duties as Chief Operating Officer for Reeves County Hospital District, she enjoys spending time and traveling with her family. One of her favorite past-times is snowboarding and competing in shotgun competitions. Earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Florida and becoming a Registered Nurse was the first of many personal milestones for Dr. Riker. Soon after she earned her master’s degree and became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Dr. Riker has also earned a Doctorate of Nurse Practice degree from the University of Alabama and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cumberland University, in addition to serving on the National Advisory Anesthesia Board for Pyxis/BD. Dr. Riker has been a medical professional and a business leader for many years. She also has police and fire dispatch experience. Dr. Riker’s goal is providing the community with a state-of-the-art Emergency Services District in the future.
