Judy Foster

ESD 2 Board Assistant Secretary/Treasurer

Term: 01/01/2024 to 12/31/2025

Judy Davis Foster knows a little something about commitment and dedication. She has lived in Pecos for over 60 years and she along with her husband of 37 years (who is a retired volunteer firefighter) also raised four children in Pecos. She has been employed by Reeves County Hospital District for 34 years and is currently working as a Pharmacy Technician. Judy began her career in the medical field in 1990 when she became the first female EMT for the Pecos Volunteer Ambulance Service in June of said year. She became a paramedic four years later and remained a member of PVEMS until 2008. During the nearly 18 years of volunteer service, Judy executed many leadership roles by serving as shift supervisor, treasurer, secretary and First Assistant Chief. She also assisted with budgets and policies. Foster is a certified Paramedic to this day and credits her decision to become a first responder to a natural disaster and a death in her family. In retrospect, there was nothing Judy could have done to change the course of events, but it did, however, give her the determination to never feel that kind of helplessness again. Judy’s career and life experiences combined with her loyalty to the engagements she undertakes makes her an asset to the Reeves County community. Judy’s vision for RCESD Nos. 1 & 2 is to continue to provide the best care possible to the citizens of Reeves County.
